Get pumped, because rising Kiwi superstar Israel Adesanya will be taking on former middleweight champion Anderson Silva at UFC 234.
Silva is set to make his Octagon return after a PED suspension.
Not only will the bout act as a back-up should either of the main event fighters get injured, White has reportedly said the winner will get the next shot at the belt.
Adesanya made his UFC debut in Perth this year with a second-round win over Australia’s Rob Wilkinson. He then went on to beat Marvin Vettori and Brad Tavares by decision, before knocking out Derek Brunson in one round at UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden.
Adesanya emerged as a big $1.19 favourite with the bookies, while Silva is at $4.75.
